Mac word 2008 boots slowly

Is there a way to delete some un-needed files in Word so it will boot faster? For instance there must be a lot of foreign languages somewhere in the app. that could be deleted.

"Hold Down the Shift key while Launching Word."

This can tell me if some addon and other items are the issue and not some slow hard disk, low amount of ram issue.
