Question

Mac Systems development jobs?

Oct 23, 2013 5:48AM PDT

Hi,

I'm not sure where I should post this, but since this forum implied it had something to do with jobs/business, I'm posting it here.

I've recently begun studying Information Systems and will have a B.Sc. in 2015. Since I'm a Mac user myself, I would prefer focusing on becoming skilled in developing systems and software for Apple products, but what worries me a bit is the fact that there seems to be so many more jobs out there for Windows/Microsoft based systems.

Would it be stupid of me to stick to Mac and learn things like Objective-C? Will there be jobs for Mac/iPhone/iPad developers in the future?

/Mattias

Did you notice Nolan Bushnell and his mention of Unity game development?

That is, the OS is not where the issues or decision point is anymore. It's a hard lesson to learn.
