So my roommate and I pay for wireless in our apartment with our neighbors, and we all share one network. Recently we got into a silly dispute with them and our neighbor, being quite tech savvy, set up a MAC filter on the wireless router which is in their apartment (thankfully we all received the router username and password when it was set up). They set an "allow" filter, meaning there is a list of only allowable addresses which can access the network. Now, my question is, if I were to copy one of their addresses and spoof it as my own, would it show up as an extra connection? Would this be secure?
