Mac on Intel.....is it possible?

Aug 5, 2005 12:03PM PDT

I have a very modest D845 Intel Board with a 1.8 Celeron A processor and I was thinking on the lines of switching over (or adding a Mac Laptop). I wanted to have a taste of Mac before switching so I was wondering if there is any version (of Mac) that will run on my system (like the Red Hat Linux?)....???

Mac on Intel

The only Intel driven machine that the Mac OS will run on, legally, will be machines supplied by Apple. There will be an authentication chip on the board that will prevent the Installer from running and the machine from booting, for those who just move a HD from a Mac to an Intel driven Mac.
I doubt a 1.8 Celeron would have the legs anyway.

Get a real Mac, Intel driven if you want to wait, and then you can run Linux/Windows and OS X
