Let's say I'm comparing notes with my colleague. I want to write an equation and this bloody too smart for me software does what you ask.
It would auto-defeat and cause no end of troubles.
If this is that important, why not take a second look at Thunderbird for Mac?
I don't know why Apple is so stubborn not to update / upgrade the Mail app. Outlook for Mac 2011 has some standard features that make it just plain better.
1. Capitalizing the first letter of a sentence when creating a new email. And after a period in a sentence.
2. Deleting emails in the Inbox from the top down. (Instead of top, up which is illogical because we read book pages from the top down.)
3. Adding attachments in a new line at the top of the email rather than throwing them in to the body and sometimes bumping other text around. Yes, I use Attachment Tamer but it does not solve this issue.
