Mac ibook G4 ( X Tiger OS Restore Disk Lost) ible to

Hi, I just found myself in a country where i cant speak their language. The Note book is Japanese Aple Ibook G4. OS is X Tiger 10.4 and The Restore Disk's are Lost. I want to do a clean installation, but where do i download the restore cd software or the OS to restore the ibook and convert the language to english.

And plus how do i start up the ibook g4 is it with a x tiger os 9.2 ? Please help...show directions

No need for clean install to change the language

Just select the language of your choice in the System Preferences/International.

You may find that System 9.2, it's not x tiger os 9.2, is already installed on that machine.

Look in System Preferences/Start up disk and see if it is a choice there.

Thanks P I will try that but all is in Japanese.. Maybe i have to guss the preference folder option too. If only i could speak japanese.. I can try. thanks I just need to convert to english and its done..

The icons are the same

Just find the system preferences icon, box with gears in it, in the dock.

The International preferences is the one with the Flag.

Languages choices are displayed in their own lanugage.
