Mac G4 Design Flaw (I disagree.)

This is really great work and I admire the clear pictures showing the failure. However this is not a design flaw but a common failure in surface mount components and their solder work. It is not limited to the Apple G4 but something I've seen since I began in electronics some 30+ years ago.

Not everyone will have the gear to fix the issue but now that I know about it I can pull the board out and inspect the solder work then touch it up to bring the machine back.

For those that think it's a design flaw then go look at any modern day laptop to see surface mount chips attached in the same way.
