Mac, for high school

yeah, i'm going into high school and i'm thinkin about getting a macbook pro,15.5 inch. my, moms going to get it for me. Should i wait for the new Leopard. It's March, and i think it's coming out this month or next month, so i should save up now. i played with my friends Macbook black colored, i loved it. i'm hooked. i have to switch from PC to MAC, please help me!!!

but "PC" is an acronym for "Personal Computer". For some reason, the IBM PC (from a long time ago in a galaxy far away), the term "PC seemed to have attached itself to those computers running DOS and Windows. A PC, in the technical sense, can be any computer - used by an individual - that runs any number of operating systems from Microsoft, Apple or others... This would not normally include mini-computers or mainframes or computer chips used for specialized functions.

Apple makes Macintosh computers and the operating system. Some folks truncate this and call it/them a "Mac". Please note that this is not an acronym (MAC).
