Answer
All of the above

All of the above and more.

XCode should be able to do C\C++\ObjC, then there's Eclipse for virtually anything else. IIRC, OS X comes with Python and Ruby already installed, but if nothing else there's always Darwin Ports.

Buying option
Dec 26, 2011 11:32PM PST

So, buying a macbook air or pro is a good option instead of a dell or a alienware laptop(Budget is around 1600$ about 90,000 Rs)
and i do have a ps3 for gaming
So, i mainly interested in MBA because it is light portable .....

and also please anybody tell me the graphics ,video playing performance of it

I'm a little stumped.

Isn't the graphics, video playing performance covered in reviews? I looked and it is. So my stumper are these questions.

1. What didn't you find in the review that you need to know?

2. More importantly, your last post may hold clues you may need a Windows system. It's not clear but a few folk were going into the work where it was a PC world. Be sure you know your path.

Sorry boss for asking again & posting in the wrong Section
Dec 27, 2011 10:20AM PST

Hello,
Sir
I'm extremely sorry for this
we already have a conversation on this topic
But the purpose why i ask this question again because on 25th of the month i went to the i-store for the purchasing of a macbook air 13 but when i go there they confused me that it cannot work for c, c++ java python means all the kind of language stuff
So, i am little bit of confused ..........

I think you are doing fine.

Your confusion is normal for a new programmer. In fact I find some arrive at work and are completely unable to install and configure the tools and compilers. This is usually what a programmer picks up a few years later and if they decide they want to be more self sufficient.

At an Apple or most stores it would be unlikely that anyone there is a programmer and even more unlikely they would be able to help you install the tools of the trade.

Thanks for the help and Sorry again

Why it's a viable option.

Because you can get any of those languages installed and in development on the Apple OS and if not, you can install Windows and use that other system. All doors are open.
