mac and cameria

by italian318 / February 5, 2010 4:59 AM PST

I recently purchased a Samsung SL620 and I tried to install the CD it came with on my Macbook Pro OS X 10.6.2 and I can't download it and when I plug the camera into the Mac no photos or anything show up.
Is this camera not compatable with Macs or am I doing something wrong?

thanks in advance

Its been my experience that most cameras just work on the mac and there is nothing needed to add from a cd or download...

Something to try...
Hook the camera with the usb to the comp...
turn on the camera...
open iPhoto...
It should show up there...or at least ask to import the photos...

i want them to stay on the camera memory but also be in iPhoto.

after importing..DO NOT DELETE....they'll stay on the camera..

As a rule of thumb...no mater what comp or OS...never delete...always use the camera to delete its files or format

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
