I suggest you forget about attaching your camera to your computer and using the camera maker's software to download your photos.
A memory card reader is a much easier method of downloading your photos.
You never have to connect the camera to your computer.
You can find a card reader at any store that sells digital cameras.
The price is under $20.
i have a question i need help answering. i can take photos just fine with the M307 HP Photosmart camera,but when i try to download my photos to my computer i get a warning that says there is some kind of script error. the photos will still download onto the computer but i cant view them in the HP image zone. but that is not a big deal to me, my main problem is that after the photos have downloaded my internet just becomes completely unresponsive. i usually have to restart my computer to get the internet to work again. can someone tell me what the problem is or might be and what steps i would need to take to correct the problem?
