M$IE Home Page Changes To MSN

Jun 30, 2004 2:11AM PDT

I prefer my home page to be a blank page. However, M$IE seems to prefer MSN as the home page and keep changing mine from blank to MSN.

How can I stop M$IE from imposing its will upon me and making my home page MSN? I am using Internet Options when I select my preferred home page, yet in a day or so its back to MSN and reflecting that in Internet Options, listing the URL for MSN.

Thanks,

G.F.K.

The problems with IE run deeper than this. Your choice to keep using it, but SPYBOT has a setting to lock the home page.

I would uninstall the MSN browser. Who needs it? And I agree with the first post that some addware is making the change of your homepage. Enigma makes a great browser, and even though Netscape's is huge,I also use the latest Netscape versions, although I set it's interface back to classic mode. But, I don't have any problems with it, after I clear up all the beginning garbage that goes with the install. Now when I open Netscape 7.1 it just opens and goes to the homepage I set. You need to know how to get to it's settings, of course. Click edit, then on the drop down menu, pick preferences. That equals IE Tools, Internet Options
