lyra wireless+rhapsody+XP=static

Nov 22, 2004 11:13AM PST

So, I hooked up an rca lyra wireless transmitter(usb device) to my computer, and it works beautifully with the windows media player, but Rhapsody, which it's designed to work with, as well as Real Player (which provides Rhapsody's engine)only create nasty static of a digital noise sort. I think I've tweaked every sound setting in the control panel to no avail. It came close to working with Real Video, if I kept the mouse moving a bit. Also, with Windows media, if the player is anything less than full screen, i get similar static.

I'm stumped. Anyone got any ideas?
