lspfix didn't work

Aug 13, 2004 11:22PM PDT

I was receiving all the winupd.dll and rundll messages that lspfix was supposed to fix. I did what the instructions said (moved inet to the right, clicked "know what I'm doing", and finish). The winupd.dll and rundll messages went away and so didn't my networking ability.

I'm running windows 2000. How do I fix this and get my networking back.

Thanks,

Bob

You can try IEFIX as well (small, found with Google). But such repairs are not always done with LSPFIX. Nothing is in your post to offer much else.

Microsoft Knowledge base article 837333 solved by problem. I needed to re-install winsock,winsock2, and the tcp/ip layer.
