Unfortunately, we don't have CI and the Cablecard interface in the US. You might try troubleshooting with the service provider if Samsung's support was unable to help. Unfortunately, I just don't have any troubleshooting tips.
I've just subscribed to ESPN via the service provider 'topuptv' here in the UK. I've received my CAM device and smart card and have inserted them in the CI slot.
According to Samsung support on the 'phone I should have seen a confirmation after 2-3 minutes that the card was accepted, but I didn't. The channel I'm hoping to view remains scrambled and many of my other channels have either disappeared or have become very jumpy and glitchy (not sure of the technical term!).
I've left it for an hour on three occasions, rescanned a couple of times but still no ESPN and a lot of disruption on my other existing channels.
The details are correct on the 'Common Interface' Menu on the TV, including the Serial numbers for the CAM and the smart card. The subscription date is correct too, 62 days ahead, which is what topuptv have told me to expect. From that I take it that the card and the module are correctly inserted and that they have received the activation signal for my subscription.
Any help would be gratefully received
