After seeing so many Access based systems blow up, I suggest you stick with SQL based systems.
Currently working for a small metal/aluminum fabricator. They are scheduling on a white board and all process are manual and on paper. Is there a simple MRPII or Access databased driven tool available that can help with scheduling, blow out the BOM for the assembler, provide inventory reorder points? They fabricate small metal and aluminum components used on the final assembly. I'd like to have something able to flag restocking points for these as well so they never hold up production. Like I said, all is manual now and a lot falls through the cracks.
Thanks in advance!
