Loud Commercials and the FCC

by gabereyes / June 21, 2009 2:47 PM PDT

the FCC is trying to restrict television commercial volume to the average sound level of the program being watched

it about time someone tried to fix these.
I hope they get it done soon, my mute button is getting worn out.

There is an ad in one of my broadcast mags that is adverting a unit that is basically and auto-level control for TV.
I have units that do this at the radio station.
