Loud Commercials and the FCC

the FCC is trying to restrict television commercial volume to the average sound level of the program being watched

it about time someone tried to fix these.
I hope they get it done soon, my mute button is getting worn out.

There is an ad in one of my broadcast mags that is adverting a unit that is basically and auto-level control for TV.
I have units that do this at the radio station.
