What happened with the app geeker com tool?
An uninformed Apple Care Level 2 iPhone technician counseled me to sign out of my Apple ID on my iPhone 6s Plus, assuring me that my 500 Voice Memos would return when I signed back in.
As is often the case with Apple "Support", they do more harm than good.
When I signed back in, every Voice Memo had disappeared, save the most recent one.
This is most mysterious.
After four hours at the Apple Store, it was concluded that my Voice Memos are not on the latest iCloud phone back up.
I don't think this is true. I think, rather, Apple technicians simply don't know how to find the voice memos.
The level 2 uninformed technician advised me that voice memos are stored on the phone itself. The Apple Store lead genius suggested my phone was set up to store the voice memos in my iCloud back up.
As usual, Apple's people say conflicting things - and not one of them knows how to fix the problem they, themselves created.
I have done online research and have found AppGeeker.com, which says their program will restore the voice memos both from an iCloud backup and from the phone itself.
What is the best approach for me to take in restoring my 500 Voice Memos?
In reading about the iOS 12 update, I have discovered that disappearing Voice Memos is a recurrent problem.
These Memos contain at least 50 original songs that exist only in my being and in these memos, which I had thought were being backed up into iCloud every day.
I would very much value expert and reliable input on this pressing and urgent issue!!!
Thanks so much, in advance.
