Lost user Library folder after downgrading from OSX Lion

Here's what happened: I installed the OSX Lion Developer seed. I found it to have too many bugs so I reinstalled Snow Leopard from the original DVD. Now I cannot get the following to start: IPhoto, APerture, JDownloader. On the other IGetter downloads "break". My Airport does not connect automatically, etc.
I found that I am missing my user Library Folder. It is not in the Home folder and when I do a Spotlight search nothing shows up.
I know I did a stupid thing installing beta software as an update and not on a different partition.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get my MacBook Pro back on its feet?
Thanks.

do an Erase and Install.

This will put your machine back to the same state that it was in when you first opened the box.

Beware, ALL the data on your hard drive will be erased!

OSX LION 10.7.1-MSSING USER/LIBRARY FOLDER!!

In reply to: Lost user Library folder after downgrading from OSX Lion

Hey i don't know if this helps or is even relevant anymore, but thought i should post this, in case somebody else has the same issue. I recently bought a 2011 15" macbbok pro 8gb ram, 2.2ghz i7, 500gb-7200rpm hd, custom online (australia). I have not messed around with any system folders or anything ridiculous liked that..out of the box..new.
I too could not find my library folder, i had an issue with a steam game and had to delete a file from the app/support folder..except..i couldn't find it..anywhere! i tried! i went through the whole rig..twice! no s**t..twice..took hours..everyone on the various forums thought i was either blind, stupid or crazy..it did not exist..however when id had enough i went to remove the entire steam app from applications..and a finder window opened and exposed the missing folder..why? i have no idea..im no newbie. no one could figure it out..regardless, i let it slide..lion is new its all good right? a month later I'm beginning to catch on..my rig is choking for no reason I'm tracking all my sys. info..and cannot figure it out..so i ring apple; check system files..and my library folder is in the wrong place?
i need to re-format and install lion..and thats fine. BUT, why did it happen..its less than 3 months old..i haven't messed around there it came with lion pre-installed..its more than inconvenient, and a little concerning..considering..i cannot figure how it could have happened..HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD A SIMILAR issue at all?
please, if you have..let me know.. LION-MISSING USER/LIBRARY FOLDER!!

If you read the replies to your multiple posts on this subject, that folder is hidden by default.
Nothing is wrong, you just seem to frequent the wrong places to get decent Mac answers.
