Question

Lost the "x" in Upper Right Corner to Leave Page

Mar 21, 2018 12:37PM PDT

The "x" has been removed from the upper right corner of the
websites so I can't click the x to leave the page like I normally
did. Also, the three dots in the upper right corner are gone so I
can't click on those dots to pin things to my main screen.

Thank you,

Answer
Which browser?

Many have a reset feature to remove addons and reset the browser to stock.

In the meantime, try Control+W to close a page.

Thanks, Proffitt

Thank you Proffitt. To my surprise the two features I was missing in the upper right-hand
corner reappeared. Again, thank you for trying to help.

Did Control+W do the trick?
Mar 22, 2018 11:19AM PDT

If so it was some popup that asked the browser to hide the controls. It's not a nice trick but knowing the keyboard commands for browsers can make it a trivial annoyance.

Answer to "Did Control+W do the trick?

Proffitt, actually I didn't have to resort to control+W. Everything was just
restored without me doing any physical thing. Without sounding spooky or
weird, I asked God in Jesus' name for a miracle that morning. Later that
day I found my computer was restored. I couldn't figure out why my
computer was restored because I had not done anything to restore it.
Then I remembered I had asked God for a miracle. And there you have
it.

Thanks again,
