lost the image resizing tool button on ie 7

when i look at a photo that is too large for my screen i used to get two tool bars on the photo when i moved the mouse
one was a button on the bottom right corner of the photo that when clicked automatically adjusted the picture for the screen
the other was a small tool bar that was in the top right area and allowed you to save the image or a few other choices

now both of these are gone?
running xp home with ie7
help?
