Question

Lost the Chrome Browser

Nov 12, 2012 10:34AM PST

I found the Chrome Browser quite convenient. But one day, (about 4 days ago), the Browser would not run.

I then uninstalled the Browser - reboot the computer - reinstalled the Browser. But still I cannot run the Browser again on this computer.

Can someone tell me what happened and how I can regain the Chrome Browser.

Tony

Clarification Request
Chrome runs on Apple, Windows, Android and more.

Sorry, but there is so much missing detail that even if I guessed it was Windows then we have XP, Vista, 7 and 8!

Did you try Chrome in another user's account?

Chrome does not run on my company computer which runs XP

I run Chrome on my Fujitsu Tablet at home which runs Vista.

How do I run Chrome in another user's account? I just cannot have Chrome running even though I have installed it. The same computer would not let run Adobe Reader too! I wonder what conflicts are there!

That's a question for the company IT support.

They are paid to keep the company IT working in good order. And if you need Chrome for your work, they'll surely do it.

By the way, running a program in another user account means logging in into that other account.
