Lost Text......Help

Feb 16, 2004 5:48AM PST

I have a weird (possibly)problem. I don't know if it is due to a lost text file or not. My question is how do I recover the lost function.
Here is the problem:
I happen to do most word processing using WordPerfect 9-all functions work except when I use the "control w" function that allows me to introduce neat text features into my documment. All I get are little boxes showing in the document where the neat text feature is supposed to do.
I have Win 98SE is the text/font drawn from Win 98SE. How can I check this and/or recover lost text/font without a complete re-install of Win 98SE?

Your comments are much appreciated.

Cheers,

Phate

You can open the control panel, and the font folder, then using the word perfect cd, extract the fonts you wish to make shared with the remainder of programs installed with the system. I use word perfect Office Suite 8, and have no issues in three operating systems with all fonts shared in all applications.
