Lost SIM security code

Jun 24, 2004 10:38AM PDT

I recently purchased an unlocked Nokia 3595 phone on E-bay. The problem is that after inserting my sim card into the new phone, I found out it had a SIM card lock. The original default code has been changed and now I can't use the phone. Tried several times with different combonations but decided to stop before the phone was locked up tight. The seller wasn't sure how to fix it but sent me a cord to attach it to my computer and said that software was out on the web somewhere that would be able to retrieve the code and make the phone usable, but didn't know what program to use. Anyone with any ideas what the program is and where to get it? I appreciate the help.

Nokia customer support may be able to help you. I know that your phone carrier's customer support will not be able to assist.
