Lost Pictures

Jun 3, 2009 10:05PM PDT

Does anyone know of a simple program that could find broken links? I have pictures that are still there (I think) because the picture is still there, they just have a broken line and I can't access them. I have tried to search, but the file path cannot be found Any help would be appreciated.

"I have pictures that are still there because the picture is still there". That seems OK, still being there when being there.

And what do you mean with "file path"?

Let me guess. You deleted the file, but you can still see the thumbnail in thumbnail view. That's a known issue with thumbnail view, pointing to things that don't exist anymore. Hope you still have the full version on a backup or in the recycle bin.

missing pictures

Sorry, Just got out of the hospital, guess I should have waited another day or two before posting. The pictures were in my Kodak gallery. I did not delete them, I was told that the "file path" is invalid? I don't know what that means. There is a picture, but it has a broken line down the middle. I cannot print or view the pictures.

What program are you using to try to open the pictures? Try opening the file from a different program than the one you are using.
