Lost media library - WMP9 on XP

Feb 7, 2004 3:00AM PST

I recently downloaded the upgrade to WMP9 from the microsoft web site and now my "Media Library" is blank. I have used system restore to go back, uninstalled & reinstalled the media player in "add/remove windows components" yet it's still showing a blank screen(in the player). All my music & playlists are still on my computer & will play if I open from the "file" drop down. Also, when I try to add an existing playlist, I receive an error "80040E37" & have followed the web link to assess the problem but have been unable to find a fix. Can anyone assist?
