I am a 1st time Mac user, and i am totally excited and thrilled to finally have a 15-inch Mac Book Pro for my personal use.

My problem stated when i transferred all my photo files (400+) from my memory card to my Mac. Everything was OK at 1st until i tried to sync my Mac to the so-called iDisk. When i checked again, all my photos were gone! I really dont have a slighest idea what happened. Now, i am totally at lost because i already deleted everything what is in my memory card.

Yeah i know that it was a stupid act. I am not usually like that, i really do back-up 2-3 times, but i guess i was overshadowed by my excitement upon having my new toy. But hey, thanks for the link regarding same problem that i am now having. It gives me hope.........................

Now the difficult part is i am not a "techie" guy, and understanding all these thngs is a mammoth challenge

Some are getting items back but do have to call it in.

I've found I can't teach backup, it seems everyone learns about it.
