Lost exe file to open saved HTML files

I installed and tried a browser called K-Meleon. But after Uninstalling it, I have been unable to open any previously saved html file using IE5. The error message said that "This program (K-Meleon.exe) is needed for opening files of type "Hypertext Markup Language Document". But "K-Meleon.exe" is nowhere to be found anywhere in my computer.

I use Win98 and IE5 browser.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

your association is lost. this is one of the hazards of trying software, uninstalling doesn't always uninstall everything and certainly doesn't always restore things back to a running state. the easiest way to get the association back is to reinstall IE.
