Lost downloads folder

by eliz6beth / October 16, 2007 12:58 AM PDT

I appear to have lost my downloads folder from My Documents.

Any ideas please.

to before the date that you lost it. Or looked in the recycle bin to see if its there and restored it from there.
Only a suggestion,

Roughly what size was the folder? And how much space have you reserved for your recycle bin?

I have done a SR but the file is still missing.

Eddie - I have done a search and it came up with nothing.

Michael - Sorry I do not know the size of the folder and how do I find how much space I have reserved for my recycle bin.

Minor suggestion for in the future

Back ups! I have a small flash drive, 512MB, that I bought a while back for $15. Now you can get a 2gig for that price. Anyway, I back up weekly or when I just feel like it. With a flash drive it only takes a few minutes and your done. Basically drag and drop. No need for complicated steps to burn CD's etc.
That's it. The end.
Good luck,
Eddie
