lost admin pass/limit only

Mar 16, 2004 6:58AM PST

Here's the thing. You see I often let my mom use my laptop whenever she goes away for business. But when she came back this time, it seems thats shes did something to my passwords on accident. You see I can't seem to get onto my admin account or even the hidden admin account. I can't get into any of the accounts I've put a password on. The only account I can access is the Guest which is very limited so I can't do hardly ANYTHING. I can't even boot anything, like a floppy, only the windows XP disk. I've always had that problem with the lap top just never thought I'd ever need to boot anything. If you could help, it'll mean a lot, thanx. P.S. Wiping the laptop ain't even an option I got tooooo many things on there work wise and school wise thats to important)

Create and Use a Password Reset Disk which is used only to reset the password on a computer for which it was prepared, [Q305478].
