Lost address box

Hi everyone
Some how I have lost the address box in my tool bar
I have XP How would I retreive it plesae

Right click on an empty spot on the tool bar then choose customize then highlight mail in the left box and then click add to put it in the right side box- this should put it back on your toolbar.

If you mean Address Bar, mouse View, Toolbars, and then privide the checkmark by clicking it.

Yes I did mean address bar...tried as suggested, now have the word address in the tool bar, but no action if I try to hover or click with mouse..........help pls.

Brian, Put your mouse pointer on bottom of all bars till you get an up/down arrow,left click and hold down the left mouse button and pull downwards. Your address bar should be seen again, then lock your toolbar. If that doesn't work on the left of the word Address you should see vertical dotted lines which you can pull downwards with your left mouse button being depressed.

The secret was unlocking the the tool bars
