Unfortunately this can happen when you use tweaking utilities, even when it comes to software provided by large companies such as Norton/Symantec. I don't know anything about that particular program, so I can only offer three suggestions:
1.) Repost in the Computer Help forum and see if anyone else has experience with this program.
2.) Click here for XQDC Software's support site, and try e-mailing them at firstname.lastname@example.org to see what the author can suggest.
3.) Perform a repair installation of Windows XP to repair the damage.
Can anybody help me with this problem. Two days ago I installed the Tweaking software XQDCX-Setup Pro 8.1.110. Almost immediately I noticed the menue items from Accessories/System tools were not longer there also the menue for Administrative tools was empty, I was accessing these menues from Start/Programs.
As advised by the software I did a restore on the 2 changes I had made but the problem remained, as I had the software installed for 2 days only I decided to use the windows system restore to try and cure the problem. Only to find system restore would not work either from any restore point.
Iam using windows xp pro sp2 on auto update,
Note I am currenty trying Internet Explorer 7 beta3 and Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 both recent installtions.
