Does anyone know if EMI will be selling lossless DRM free music through any online stores? They said they would work with other online stores, but I can't find anyone apart from iTunes.
It is a very positive step selling DRM free music, but it bothers me that Apple are selling in AAC. They have a perfectly good lossless format in ALAC and could just have easily used that. That way people would be eble to encode to whatever format they like, for any device, without any unnecessary drop in quality.
If iTunes is still the only DRM free store when it goes live I will probably buy a few tracks, just to make the scheme a success, but can't see myself spending that much on lossy audio.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
