Question

Loss of remote CCTV function in Win 7

Sep 13, 2012 9:51PM PDT

Since a recent (3 days ago) update to Windows 7, which included an update to the network driver file 6/21/2006 6.1.7600.16385, I have lost the ability to view my home cctv on either LAN or WAN. Does anyone know why, and how can I fix this, please? I have tried system restore, but Windows just automatically updates again afterwards.

Do not accept drivers from Microsoft. Did you try DRIVER ROLLBACK in the device manager for this device?

you can hide that update, so it won't be downloaded again. Why didn't you?

But I agree with Bob that driver rollback should be sufficient.
