Loss of Internet e-mail accounts feature on OE.

Hi!! To all CNET members
First of all I would like to wish you a happy and prosperous 2007.
Suddenly a few days ago I lost my Internet e-mail accounts feature
on the Outlook Express v.6 that I am running on the WXP system.
You know ...the option that drops out when we hit on the
tools menu of OE.
Therefore I cannot add or remove (edit) my e-mail addresses
any more.
Can that be the result of a virus attack??
Otherwise I continue to send and receive all my e-mails
without any problem.
But what will happen when I would like to change my
Internet e-mail providers or make some changes
to my username or password??
Can some one advise me how to handdle this case...please??
