is it a dsl connection? Something could be using your resources. Limit processes only to what is necesary. That is explorer.exe, aol, IE/Firefox/Opera, sound. Once these are running then use other applications one at a time.
Have you checked for viruses? runaway processes? Do a virus check then do the system monitor check. Kill all processes not related to the computer running. That means the digital photo session, winamp, itunes, whatever you have going on.
Have you checked the configuration of your device? If the driver isn't properly installed or the program path is slightly changed, it won't work correctly.
I have an AOL connection and find that very often the connection to AOL ends and I am unable to reconnect. The computer says I have a connection but still not able to connect. In the end the computer freezes and I have to re-boot...any idea's?
If I disconnect the Netgear and reboot...then reconnect Netgear...all comes back on...very strange...cant fix it myself.
