Question

Losing profiles

Feb 3, 2013 11:07PM PST

I did not use my tablet for awhile and when i tried to turn it back on, it was dead. I charged it back up and now i cannot connect to amazon apps, email, etc, etc . It is telling me my profile does not exist.

What do i need to do for this? is there a way to restore what i had before?

Android? Which version? Or Windows 8? Or Blackberry? Or webOS? Or maybe even an iPad?

Answer
No.

Look at the detail provided. Given no make, model and more the answer is no.

This looks to actually be a good thing. That is, if you lost your tablet, and you didn't secure it with a password your information would be available to the next user.

Check with the maker about this issue but in my view, it's nice to have it forget like this.

I see they have a support site.

There are some thousands of cheap android tablets out there. In this case you got lucky and they have a web page and it looks like support. Your choices are clear here. If this product has a defect then you can return it for another that works the way you want.

But in my view this looks to be a good feature.
