Losing Information

Hi, I have Windows Vista & when I turn off computer & reboot...the information I have stored such as favourites etc....also I use a Family Tree Maker prog which I save the information and when I reboot it has gone....

There is a setting to clear such on exit.

The problem I see is "Where is that setting?"

That's just one of a hundred places where we can set Windows to clear things automatically. Which is in play here may require you remember which you changed or fish around till you find it.
