Cooling pads and external fans when there is such an issue but the dv6 is known for the heatsink to lift off. Did you make sure it was still attached?

Loptop HP DV6 is unabled to wakeup due to fan overheating.I do not have a startup disk.
Any ideas how to turn on the loptop enought time to press f11 and fix the BIO's
