If you google that you find a lot about how 127.0.0.1 changed in an early Windows.
It's not even in the hosts file.
For me I just pop in the machine's IP and it works.
I'm setting up a loopback network so that Light Converse can communicate with my titan simulator.
I need to choose 127.0.0.1 as IP Address for my loopback network but when I type 127 I get the following error: "The IP Addresses that start with 127 are not valid because these addresses are reserved for loopback addresses."
Can someone help me?
My system info:
HP notebook, pavilion dv7
