HDTV_Lover,
The Dynamic setting is usually best for demonstrating the unit in the stores. Most users would be best tuning their sets starting with the Standard setting and adjusting it to their taste. There are several ways to adjust the pictures, and get the black levels adjusted to your liking. You might also consider a professional calibration (if you do, update your firmware first!), but most people can adjust it to their liking on their own.

I've compared LN46a650 with other sets, but seems like Samsung has the best picture. I have a question regarding the black level. While doing the comparison in the store, I noticed the black level seemed to be the deepest compared to other sets. However; the blacks looked too inky/dark and sometimes could not see the details of the dark area. It there a way to tone down the blacks ? what settings ? I tried turning down the contrast setting, but it did not help much. The TV was set in Dynamic picture mode and I even tried changing to Standard; which helped a bit.
Any help world be great, so I can decide and purchase this model.
