Looking to buy Gameing Laptop

I currently own a Sony Vaio PCG-K33 and was looking to purchase a gameing laptop. I like to play World of Warcraft but it runs kind of choppy and my computer is clean, but I think it has to do with RAM I currently have 400 something but was looking to buy two 512MB to upgrade to a gig.

Later doen the road I was looking at purchaseing a Apple MacBook Pro with Intel Duo Processor.

What do you guys think?

PS I am not fond of Dell, HP, or Compaq and Alienware I am hesitant about...

Besides Dell, HP, or Compaq? I really am not to fond of these companies because of thier por customer support and the fact that all thier reps are overseas (Indian) indivuduals becuase it makes it harder and more frustrating to get any customer service.

Arnt thier any Gateways, Sony, etc?
