Looking to buy a Lenovo this week

This is a very helpful site! Many people have sung the praises of the Lenovo. I am ready to jump in.

I am looking at the Lenovo 3000 N100 at Costco. (6 month return policy). $999-Lenovo 3000 N100 (PRO) 15.4" Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz 1GB 80GB DVDRW 4-in-1 Multicard Reader Bluetooth

Is there another model Lenovo that I should be looking at as well?

Any help would be appreciated!

If you like it, get it !

But you don't mention the graphics card model... If you're planning to play games and run Aero Glass of Windows VIsta one day, make sur to get a dedicated graphics processing unit ( GPU ).

Good luck !

They constantly get the highest reviews. I'm on number three. My first, a 1997 380ED is still purring with a Pentium 166 processor. My second, a T-30 with a P-III 1.8 MHz is so sweet, my wife confiscated it. I've hidden the receipt where I ordered an R-40 (refurbished) for me. I also used to run a little NetVista desktop as my web server. Absolutely zero problems.

Excellent machine and when you call service, you get a person who speaks Atlanta, Ga. English. I'll never buy another brand.
