Looking into buying a Cowon D2, have a quick question or 2.

by brnforce / September 6, 2008 8:08 PM PDT

I currently do not have personal internet access (using someone else's now) and want to buy a flash drive mp3 player for use at the gym. I'm wondering if the D2 needs to connect to the internet to get the thing working or if you just have to load a disk that comes with it? If internet is required, do you know of any flash mp3 players that accept wma files and do not require it?

I really appreciate any help.

Flash player for the gym

Another possibility would be the Creative Zen V+ series. This comes with a disk for connection to your computer and plays MP3 and WMA files. I use Windows Media Player to load it and manage the files on it. You also get a radio and line-in recording, so you don't even need a computer to connect to - you can simply copy your CDs direct to the player if you want.

Thank you for the heads up!
