Looking For The Ultimate Point-And-Shoot Digital Camera

by quipdude / December 21, 2008 8:12 AM PST

Hi folks.

I'm looking for a digital camera that will give me excellent images using full auto mode. Image Stabilization would be a plus. Manual modes are not at all important to me. I'm looking for the ultimate POCKETABLE point-and-shoot in every sense of the word(s). I have $500 to spend for such a dream machine.
Thanks in advance everybody.

Best Point and Shoot
by STAN159 / January 14, 2009 8:07 AM PST

I read a lot of reviews and the cameras that got the best reviews were the Canon SD880 which I got and the Canon SD890 and also the Canon SD990. The SD990 has everything. All the automatic settings and all the manual settings too. But I dont want to spend time playing with my camera, I mainly want fast good clear excellent photos so I just got the Canon SD880.
