1. Build your new beast of what you want but if you are the first, you may find arrows in your back or rocks in your boots as you blaze a new trail.
2. Build what others have built so you know this combo has been made and is up and working.
As to the RAM, consider using RAM the motherboard maker notes as supported. I have stories about many bald builders that picked out ram because of it's cool RGP LEDs.
I'm a brand-spanking new kid to building their own PC. I've done a general amount of research on various GPU's, CPU's, motherboard, etc. and I've come up with what I think would be a cohesive build starter. I dont have all the parts pinned down yet because I want to make sure that the more fundamental parts are in order. So after searching the internet, reading reviews and watching a fair number of YouTube videos, here what I came up with. Let me know what you think:
Motherboard - ASUS x570 Crosshair VIII Hero
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 3900x (if I can find one) or AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU - GeForce RTX 2080 ti
RAM - Corsair Dominator 2x16GB DDR4
CPU Cooling - Noctua NH-D15S
