Question

Looking for software

by jimbir1 / June 17, 2016 12:18 PM PDT

I am looking for a version of spider solitaire that mimics the version that came with Windows 7 and will run on a windows 10, 64 bit desktop. I would be happy with this game only and not a collection since the games in them are of no interest to me. I am willing to pay for this. (shareware, free trial, pay to own.

Did you try to run the Windows 7 game on Windows 10?
Copy the folder c:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Spider Solitaire from any Windows 7 PC (or your own backup) to a USB stick and see if it runs in your Windows 10. There's a good chance it does.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
