Looking for replacement ZVM

Nov 10, 2008 4:16AM PST

I'm looking for a new MP3 player. My last was a Creative ZVM 30gb, that crapped out after a little over a year(right after warranty of course). Think it's the motherboard but don't want to drop $100 when I'm not sure. I really liked the wide range of video support and drag and drop feature. It was a little big for when I used it for work, but not impossible. I want to use the new one for watching shows and vids on different TVs(not simultaneously), working out(i have a smal memorex i got as a gift i can use for this too), and plugging into car aux. Hard drive or flash not so much a preference. I think anywhere from 20gb and up. Divx support would be a nice option as well. Thanks for any help.

Get the warranty that matches how long you need this.

I've been looking into the Creative XFi, Archos 605 or 705 wifi, cowon d2 or a3, and ruled out nokia n800 series(doesn't seem to have tv out). I'll be using it mainly for video(movies and a lot of tv shows) on different TVs and audio through car stereo. I loved the ZenVM because it could play almost anything I threw at it without conversion.

Zune

I would ge the Zune 120. It's pretty awesome. I know you like the drag-and-drop feature but the Zune Software is AWESOME! I love it. The podcast integration is great, the Album art is automatically updated, all that good stuff. Plus, the screen size is 3.2 inches. How's that for big? When comparing that to my iPod Classic 80GB it seems to be twice the size. And it amazing for watching shows.
