Looking for professional MS Word document formatter

Sep 25, 2006 11:58AM PDT

Does anyone have a referral for a firm that can do professional document formatting in MS Word format? We are a million dollar research company and are looking for a professional, freelance individual or firm who has an excellent track record in document formatting of large documents (100s of pages) in MS for small and large businesses.

Professionals ...

don't use MS Word to format.

They use programs like Quark Express and Adobe Indesign. Luckily, those programs can read the crude MS Word format you use yourself.

Any person or company advertising as 'graphic design' will be able to do the job for you. Be sure to ask for examples of their earlier or other work to see if they can live up to their promises.

I really have no companies in mind in the specific undisclosed area where your company resides. Searching the yellow pages would be a good start.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, but these forums are not a job agency.

That's why I deleted your post.

Also, it is not wise to post your email address in forums like these or elsewhere. They just become targets for spam robots.

Yes. I used to have large numbers of medium to big documents formatted in this way for a Government Department. I left that job some time ago, however the company called doublecheck still produces formatted word documents for the person who took over my job. I also still use them on occasion, for non-marketing items that need to be published cost effectively but still require a professional finnish. If you are still looking for someone let me know and I will provide doublecheck's contact details.

This could be a good solution for me also, I solely run a small business and the documenting side of project managing is slowly me down a bit. I would appreciate details of doublecheck also if possible.

Thanks,
Roger
