go to ebay

go to ebay and see what it is going for there. It is at least a four year old laptop, whether you had it that long makes no difference. With it being a notebook, more than likely it needs a new battery and may soon have a few other issues caused by heat. Gaming is hard on a laptop. IMO, you need to knock at least 70 percent off the price you paid.

I looked on kimono and eBay and cannot find anyone selling it.

You'll have to look for similar, not same models.

Why not list it for the price you want? You can always knock it down if it doesn't move.

I doubt you can warrant it. Look for examples of disclaimers, etc.

And in parting do not fall for the scammers that want it paid with Western Union, etc.

I'd say a laptop loses 40% of it's value (what you paid when you bought it new) the first year, 30% the second year, 20% the third year, and the remaining 10% in its fourth year. You can start to ask more, of course.

Answer
The price erodes so fast.

I see Kees noted the usual erosion rate. On top of that this is a gamer's laptop so it's unknown if the battery has survived and if the usual maintenance will be required. As it looks to be a 2011 model about 10 to 20 percent of the new price.
